Three of a Kind is the hand that contains three cards of the same rank. The cards suit doesn’t matter. For instance: KD, KC, KH, 8S, 2C.
Two Pair is poker hand which has two cards with the same rank and two cards with another value. In Two Pair hands the suit doesn’t matter. For example: 7C, 7H, 9S, 9D, JH.
One Pair is poker hand which consists of two cards from the same rank. For example: 8D, 8S, 7S, 5H, 2H.
High Card is the hand that doesn’t contain any of the mentioned above cards combinations. The rank of High Card hand is determined by the strongest card. For instance: AH, QC, JD, 9S, 5C.
All these hands can have other names depending on the area where you play poker or also according to the gambling slang.
